"Create Joy" || Mini Junk Journal

I have the first page in my mini junk journal to share today! It is on ledger paper which I made sure to cover with clear gesso so the paper would hold up. it is a very Dina Wakley-esque page, with a splot of Dylusions Ink and some magenta paint. It came together very quickly, which is exactly what I wanted for this 'art everyday' venture. To see exactly how I made it, you can watch the process video at the end of this post. There is also a complete supply list with links to everything I used on this page. Mini Junk Journal || Art Everyday

After making a project for Finnabair's Art Daily Café, it really inspired me to want to take a little time everyday for myself to be creative. I decided to take a bunch of junk (packaging, scraps, magazine pages, fabric etc.) and make myself a mini art journal that I could use to be creative everyday. It was important the pages were small, to keep it manageable. It has a fabric cover and probably the easiest binding ever (just a straight stitch thru the sewing machine). If you want to see exactly how I made my mini junk journal, you can watch the process video at the end of this post. Thanks so much for looking! ~jenn
