Hey everyone! I have an art journal page to share with you today inspired by Finnabair's new venture The Art Daily Café . You can check out all about it here. Basically it's about carving out time for yourself everyday to be creative..whatever that looks like to you. When I first got some of the Dylusions Paints , I’ll be honest, I did not like them. It was obviously user error, because everyone else made them look gorgeous. I just couldn’t get them to blend nicely and I didn’t like the colors without being blended. But, I was determine and after playing around with different applications, I finally found applying/blending with a baby wipe gave me the most beautiful blend. Now, I love them and cannot get enough.   This is a double page spread in my mini moleskine. I just had to play with as many colors as possible, so I chose to have cool colors on one side and warm on another.   I have to admit, after I applied the mask/stencil of the girls, I didn’t really know what to do. When all else fails, scribble journal! That’s what I call the scribbly, loopy version of writing that I like to do in my journal. It totally came together after that for me. It has been awhile since I pulled out my Mini Moleskine Art Journal. I just love the size. I can quickly ::cough, cough:: make a page or two and call it done. In my Mini Moleskine I usually make fairly simple pages. That is why there usually aren't process videos for them. This double page spread is different. It took me almost 2 hours to complete!
