New Blog!!

So here's the thing...
I generally am not good at following thru with things. I start with the best intentions, go gung-ho, balls to the wall, then... I fizzle out. However, my YouTube channel is different. I started it a year ago and have been going strong posting several videos a week (with a few exceptions) for over a year now. I love my YouTube channel and have met some wonderful amazing people thru it.

When I started thinking about new things I wanted to do on the internet, a blog felt like the natural progression for me. Writing was my first creative love long before I ever started doing art of any kind. Words have always held so much expressive power for me. Why not have a place where my two loves (words & art) can coexist in an exciting way.

I can't promise that it will always be just words and art. I don't know about any of you, but I get inspired by so many things on a daily basis. My mind goes in a million different directions at any given moment and I want to share that here.

So here is my blog in all it's humble glory. Here's hoping it will be another great adventure of meeting incredibly inspiring interesting people as I make my way thru realizing my passion for words, art, and mixed media.

Painty hugs,
Jenn

We are using transparent layers, transparency, fabric, stitching, text, vintage book text, wood, fibers, vintage sewing patterns, tissue paper, machine sewing, encaustic, weaving, scribbles and mark making, browns, tans, whites, creams, vintage colors For my project I used a lot of elements from the board. I started with using the color scheme. I also used transparent layers and book text. I used some resin papers and machine sewing. I even tried hand stitching. I stitched my chipboard word with white embroidery thread. I also tried some French knots under my main cluster.  I used the "trust" chipboard piece as m
