NaNoJouMo 2015 Day #8 (Art Journal Page - "Fall in Love")

Sometimes I want to play around in my art journal but I really have no ideas or any direction. Especially with a challenge like NaNoJouMo, I sometimes like to re-visit techniques or pages I have done and really liked.

This page is using the same techniques as my index card for ICAD 2014 Day #1.

No need to reinvent the wheel every time, right?!

Mini Junk Journal || Art Everyday

After making a project for Finnabair's Art Daily Café, it really inspired me to want to take a little time everyday for myself to be creative. I decided to take a bunch of junk (packaging, scraps, magazine pages, fabric etc.) and make myself a mini art journal that I could use to be creative everyday. It was important the pages were small, to keep it manageable. It has a fabric cover and probably the easiest binding ever (just a straight stitch thru the sewing machine). If you want to see exactly how I made my mini junk journal, you can watch the process video at the end of this post. Thanks so much for looking! ~jenn
